IEST Multimedia Corporation ("IEST," "we," "us," or "our") operates the account, streaming, and creator services at iesoundtrack.stream, including BeatGeo, VocalGeo, and connected DJGeo and 4Kreators features that link to this policy. This policy explains information handled through those services. External services and features with separate notices may have different practices.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, username, display or artist name, authentication information, email-verification status, and records of signup agreement and communication choices.
- Optional profile information: creator roles, genres or interests, city or region, biography, preferred credit name, profile image, social links, collaboration availability, and profile visibility preference.
- Creator content: recordings, uploaded audio and other files, lyrics, project titles, performer credits, settings, selected destinations, versions, and collaboration membership when saved to the service. Some unsaved or local projects remain in your browser or device storage.
- Communications and transactions: information you provide in support requests, submissions, orders, or other interactions. Payment services may process payment details under their own notices.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, visited pages, interactions, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies for service operation, security, and analytics.
If you use an available social sign-in option, we receive information permitted by that provider and your authorization. The provider also handles information under its own policy.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, operate music and collaboration tools, store and deliver requested content, apply access permissions and limits, process transactions, respond to requests, troubleshoot and improve the service, and address misuse or legal obligations.
We record agreement and preference information to document signup choices. Promotional email consent is separate from account creation. We use that choice for promotional communications; account verification, security, and service messages are separate.
3. Profiles, private songs, and collaboration
New creator profiles default to private unless the member selects public visibility. Existing profiles retain their previous setting until changed. You can edit creator preferences in Edit Profile. A private profile does not make your public activity anonymous: names or usernames and credits may still appear with content or actions you make public.
Saved private song versions are available to their owners and authorized project members through account access controls. Project owners can add members by registered email and view member identifiers, including email addresses. Collaborators can access shared audio and contribute versions. Removing membership stops future authorized access through the project but cannot recall downloaded copies. Profile visibility and song membership are separate controls.
Authorized staff and service providers may access information as needed for operation, support, security, and legal requests. Private storage does not mean end-to-end encryption. Selecting a proposed publishing destination does not itself make a private draft public.
4. Microphone and device storage
Recording features request microphone permission through your browser. You can deny or revoke this permission in browser or device settings. Recording and upload are separate actions; use the tool's controls to determine what is saved locally and what is sent to your account. Clearing browser storage may remove locally saved work. Download backups of work you want to keep.
5. Cookies, analytics, and external content
Cookies and similar technologies support sessions, authentication, preferences, and usage analytics. Browser settings can limit or remove cookies, but doing so may affect sign-in and other features. Embedded videos, external players, social sign-in, and linked sites may receive technical information and use their own cookies or identifiers when you use them. Review their notices and controls.
The account and creator features described here do not currently provide a dedicated response to browser Do Not Track signals. Do Not Track should not be treated as a setting that makes projects private. Any legally required treatment of other opt-out signals remains subject to applicable law.
6. When information is disclosed
Information may be disclosed to providers supporting hosting, storage, email, analytics, payments, and service operation; to people you authorize through sharing or publication; when needed to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections. External providers' independent practices are governed by their own notices.
IEST does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. This statement does not mean external embeds or analytics never collect information. Questions about provider collection or advertising-related disclosures can be sent to the contact below.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, considering account activity, project dependencies, operational needs, and legal obligations. We do not promise a single fixed deletion period for all data. Backups, security records, transaction records, and evidence needed to resolve disputes may remain after removal from active use.
Use available project and account controls to request removal, or contact us for help. Shared versions may be linked to other contributions, and the normal deletion control may block removal while dependent versions exist. We will consider requests involving these projects individually, including other contributors' rights and applicable law. Deleting an account or changing visibility does not retrieve content others already downloaded or republished.
8. Your choices and requests
You can edit profile information, collaboration availability, public-profile preferences, and promotional-email choices in Edit Profile. Where offered, marketing emails also provide an unsubscribe option. You can manage browser permissions and cookies using browser settings.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain disclosures. Contact us to exercise applicable rights or ask about our practices. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. We will handle requests under applicable law, including its exceptions, and will not penalize you for exercising protected privacy rights. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator.
9. Security and processing locations
We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information, but no system or transmission is completely secure. Protect your password and share projects carefully. Information may be processed where IEST and its service providers operate, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
10. Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Members below the age of legal majority must use the service with the involvement required by our Terms of Service.
11. Policy changes
We will post updates with a revised date. Material changes to how we use or disclose existing members' information will receive appropriate additional notice, and we will obtain consent when required. A policy update alone does not authorize an incompatible new use of information previously collected.
